The mission of Virgo International Partners is to get newly released prisoners trained and employed with livable wages in industries that can provide longevity. It is our mission to curb recidivism which has plagued and continues to plague many people that are released from prison. It is our aim at Virgo International Partners to inquire with our clients what industries they have interest in for greater chances of success in career development. 

The first 30 days of a residents release are critical for developing a reentry plan and securing employment. Firstly, we establish foundational information including name, release date, physical and mental health status. Next we focus on identifying both short and long term goals of achieving employment as well as ancillary activities (e.g., obtaining skills development courses, trade licenses and possibly state ID’s). This is followed by family/friend interactions as well as time to re-establish ties. Parenting and relationships goals are included for those with children or in a committed relationship, respectively. Over the years we have experienced clients who could not focus or maintain a job due to unstable family interactions and this overshadowed their success in securing employment once released. VIP is also empathetic to those people who have an issue with abusing substances. We have partnerships with community based organizations that conduct necessary narcotics/alcoholics anonymous counseling sessions.
